Transport truck drivers are included in a group of occupations that may support spousal open work permit eligibility when the other IRCC requirements are met.
What this means in plain English
Your spouse may be eligible for an open work permit because NOC 73300 is on IRCC’s selected occupation list. Eligibility is not automatic.
They may accompany you as visitors or students depending on their situation. They do not automatically receive an open work permit.
